Welcome to Sleeping Beauty

We now move on to our pantomime, 'Sleeping Beauty', to be staged on the evenings of Thursday 4th, Friday 5th and Saturday 6th of January 2017, with an afternoon matinée on the Saturday.

The story this year, directed by James Milne has all the ingredients of the original fairy story portrayed with lots of family friendly magical scenes.

The show offers jokes galore intertwined with stupidity, pathos, songs and plenty of opportunities for audience participation.

Prince Alexander Rescues Princess Rose

Hello Children and Mums and Dads
Through the eternal magic of panto, our story spans a time period of over one-hundred years as we follow the life of Princess Rose, our Sleeping Beauty.
In true panto style this production promises to provide colour, music, romance and singing and dancing as the palace staff of Nurse Dottie Dettol, Muddles the handyman and the idiot pages, Fetch and Carrie join forces with Good Fairy Lilac and her four apprentices, the Rainbow Fairies, to protect Princess Rose from the curse of Bad Witch Hazel - if the princess should prick her finger before her 16th Birthday, she will die!

Our Goodies will need all the help that our audiences can give them to save the princess as the auditorium rings to the cry of "Muddles, don't get Muddled!"

. . . . and then of course there is romance in the air as Prince Alexis arrives in the kingdom of Muddleby on Marsh to propose marriage to the young princess - that's where the kiss comes in.
Will he be in time? - Will the good fairies get their 'spelling' right?
